Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This Privacy Policy explains how beld.me ("we", "us") handles information for our Chrome extensions (each an "Extension"). Our extensions are independent tools and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc.

1. Summary

2. Information we collect

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and store a cryptographically hashed version of your password. We also store your plan (free/Pro) and your usage count.

Billing information. If you subscribe, checkout is handled by Stripe, Inc. We receive a customer identifier and subscription status (e.g. active/canceled). We never receive your full card number. See Stripe's privacy policy.

Content you export. The lists you create are processed in your browser and downloaded to your device. Captured page names/URLs are not transmitted to our servers.

Technical data. Our server may log standard request metadata (timestamp, IP address) for security and abuse prevention.

3. How we use information

4. Legal bases (GDPR)

Where applicable we process data based on performance of a contract (providing the service you signed up for), legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention), and consent where required.

5. Sharing

We share data only with Stripe (payments/subscription management) and our hosting and database providers (to run the account/billing service). We do not sell or rent personal information.

6. Data retention

We keep account data for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion at any time. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security.

7. Security

Passwords are stored using a strong one-way hash (bcrypt). Traffic to our API uses HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

8. Your rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data, or ask us to stop processing it, by contacting support@beld.me. If you are in the EEA/UK you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority.

9. Children

Our extensions are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, an in-extension notice.
